Delaware River Report: June 13, 2026

The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. There were some isolated thunderstorms yesterday. The rivers came through just fine. The West Branch at Hale Eddy flow bumped slightly but is already back to 601 cfs. The rest of the rivers in the system are actually starting off a little lower than yesterday morning. Cahills, olives, and caddis are all around in some numbers. The sulphurs have been decent on some river sections in the evening. Nymphing or swinging wets have been the best bets during the day but we are seeing sulphurs in the midafternoon on some days.

The Mainstem, the East Branch in Hancock, and the Beaverkill at Cooks Falls all peaked at or over 70 degrees again yesterday. It’s time to give these river sections a break until we cool back down.

Today will be 84 degrees with sunshine. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
