Delaware River Report: June 17, 2023

The rain bumped the flows slightly but not enough to be noticeable when you’re in the river. The color is fine and everything looks good this morning. It took a while for the water temps to warm up yesterday so the better hatching was in the afternoon. Cahills, olives, and some sulphurs made up the bulk of the food but there is still a wide array of insects out there.

Today will be 69 degrees with clouds in the morning clearing a bit in the afternoon. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the North.
