Delaware River Report: June 17, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 801 cfs. There is 53 cfs spilling. The cooler temps, clouds, lower, spill, and higher release have all helped the water temps. Most of the rivers are starting off a few degrees cooler than yesterday morning. The Beaverkill and some of the feeder streams got a bump from yesterday’s rain but everything is in great shape for mid June. Today looks like another good weather day for fishing. The cloud cover and light rain have been nice. Nymphing and streamers are still the go to during the day but blind casting Isonychias and cahills has paid off. The hatching has been late in the day / evening but that may shift a little today with cooler water and light rain showers.

Today will be 67 degrees with cloudy skies an rain showers. Total rainfall during the day will be .14″ with an additional .23″ coming overnight. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
