The release from Cannonsville is 801 cfs. The spill has ended on both reservoirs. Some areas got hit with storms yesterday. the West Branch came through just fine and it in good shape for both wading and floating. The Beaverkill is up quite a bit so the lower East is also. Some Mainstem feeder streams were also high and off color yesterday afternoon. The colder water temps have helped the fishing pushing the bugs earlier in the afternoon. The bugs and fishing have been really good in the cold water sections since the spill stopped. Sulphurs, cahills, and Isonychias are making up the bulk of the hatch.
Today will be 82 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun. Total rainfall during the day will be .17″. We may see a few storms pass though. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
