The release from Cannonsville is back to 500 cfs. Today will be much, much cooler than we’ve seen in a while. The cloud cover should help too. We may see some rain showers but the amount looks negligible on Wonderground. Nymphing has been decent in the morning. We are seeing some of the midday sulphurs and tiny olives in Deposit. The lower West has been fishing with light olives, cahills, and tiny olives in the afternoon.
Today will be 71 degrees with clouds and some rain showers. Precipitation should be .01″. Wind will be 15 – 25 mph from the North.
The Beaverkill at Cooks Falls, East Branch at Fishs Eddy, and Mainstem at Lordville all started near or at 70 degrees again today. It’s time to give these rivers a break.
