Delaware River Report: June 26, 2025

Cannonsville is spilling 186 cfs. The release from Cannonsville is 801 cfs. The heat is past and today looks like a good day to be on the water. Wunderground is calling for .09″ of rain this afternoon. If we keep the clouds and light rain, but not enough rain to increase the spill, we’re set up for some good fishing conditions over the next few days. The West Branch temp at Stilesville dropped and is 55 degrees this morning. The weather and cooler temps could push the hatches up and we may see bugs earlier in the day. Sulphurs, cahills and Isonychias are still making up the majority of the hatches. Streamers have worked well when the sun hasn’t been beating down on the water. The lower East, Beaverkill, Wiilowemoc, and Maonstem temps are all peaking too high to fish. It’s time to give these rivers a break until they cool back down.
