Delaware River Report: June 28, 2023

The river flows are dropping and the West Branch is wadeable and fishable this morning. The flow at Hale Eddy is 600 cfs. The East Branch has quite a bit of water in it so keep an eye on the gauges if you’re thinking of heading over there. Today will be 70 degrees with good cloud cover. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North. We should see decent olives, Isonychias, and sul[hurs. Nymphing should be decent before the hatches and streamers early and late in the day. Blind casting isonychias or dry / dropper rigs through riffles should bring some fish to the net.
