Delaware River Report: June 4, 2024

Yesterday was a mix of bugs and seemed like everyone found fish eating something different then everyone else. Wunderground was a bit wrong and we had sun in the late afternoon. Depending on where you were we had Sulphurs, Cahills, Gray Fox, a few March Browns, a few Green Drakes, Dark Blue Sedge, and the dark Brachycentrus caddis. Today’s weather looks similar to yesterday so it should fish the same. Some people found fish on top early while other sections seemed to turn on at dark. We did see a lot of fish chasing caddis pupa and occasionally eating a mayfly on top.

Today will be 82 degrees with mostly sun this morning and increasing clouds in the afternoon. Wind will be light and variable.
