Delaware River Report: June 5, 2025

Both reservoirs are still spilling. The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs. There is just under 719 cfs spilling. There are some spots people wade the West Branch at 1,500 cfs but the best wading is still on the Beaverkill and Willowemoc. Yesterday was very bright and very warm. Today looks similar although we may see some clouds in the afternoon if the thunderstorms or stray showers come through. Nymphing or wet flies will be the best bets during the day. The hatches may be later in the day / evening due to the weather. And it could be a good night for spinners. We;e still seeing a large array of bugs out there so have everything with you just in case.

Today will be 84 degrees with sun and clouds mixed. There is a slight chance of an afternoon thunderstorm or stray shower. Wind will be light and variable.
