Delaware River Report: June 9, 2024

We woke up to some light rain and a cooler morning. It should clear a bit and we may see a bit of sun in the afternoon. Hopefully the clouds stick around and push some olives. If the weather stays like this we should be in for a good day despite the wind. Olives, Isonychia, sulphurs, and cahills are making up the bulk of the mayflies. The tiny olives are out too. We are still seeing the dark Brachycentrus caddis and the last of the dark blue sedges.

Today will be 69 degrees with showers in the morning and maybe a few showers in the afternoon. Total rainfall should be .28″. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the West / North.
