The release from Cannonsville is 40 cfs with roughly 4,700 cfs spilling over the top. The spill will increase a bit today as more water works it’s way across the reservoir. Pepacton is also spilling and all the river flows are way up this morning. The West Branch has the least color but it is off color. The lower East and Main are chocolate. There is no safe wading in the system. If you’re floating use you best judgement and make sure you’re competent and confident in high water situations. Thing happen very fast in high water so use your best judgement and put safety first. We have a few days in the forecast with no rain and we’re set up for some great fishing this week as the water drops. It’s a good set up for next week or two. There have been bugs hatching in the high water and that should continue and get better this coming week.
