Delaware River Report: May 12, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 40 cfs with 4,102 cfs spilling over the top. The river flows are still dropping. Wading is still restricted to the feeder streams. If the Beaverkill continues to drop there should be some wade opportunities there in the next couple of days. Floating is fine if you’re comfortable and confident in high water. The clarity on the West Branch is fine this morning and is fishable. If the clouds roll in this afternoon we may see some dry fly shots in the slow pools. There is some rain in the forecast over the next few days but none of it looks significant.

Today will be 79 degrees with sun and a chance of afternoon clouds. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
