Delaware River Report: May 14, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs with 2,209 cfs spilling over the top. The Beaverkill flow dropped below 1,000 cfs so there are some wad opportunities there and on the Willowemoc. The West, East, and Main flows are dropping but there are no wade opportunities. The cloud cover has helped the fishing and the rain totals look negligible for the next couple of days. There are some afternoon hatches offering some dry fly fishing. We are still finding some Hendricksons on some river sections along with March Browns. Bring your spinner box too. Nymphs and streamers are working when we’re not finding bugs. The wind will be up today but at least the leaves are now offering some shelter.

Today will be 61 degrees, cloudy, with occasional rain showers. Total rainfall should only be .12″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
