The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs with 952 cfs spilling over the top. We had a strong but brief storm yesterday morning but the rivers came through just fine. All of the rivers are still dropping but look in great shape today. The best wade opportunities are still on the Willowemoc and Beaverkill but other spots will open up as the flows drop. Some river sections are still seeing a few Hendricksons but mostly spinners. The March Browns and sulphurs are picking up on some sections. Caddis have been out when the wind has been down. Both streamers and nymphs have worked well over the last couple of days.
Today will be 78 degrees and partly cloudy. The clouds should increase in the afternoon and we may see some rain showers. Total rainfall should only be .05″. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the South.
