Delaware River Report: May 18, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs with 766 cfs spilling over the top. We had a few scattered showers yesterday but not enough to bump the flows. All of the river flows are dropping. The best wade opportunities are still on the Beaverkill and Willowemoc but some should open up on the West over the next couple of days. March Browns, Gray Fox, Sulphurs, and tan caddis are making up most of the hatches. Some sections are still seeing some Hendrickson spinners. Streamers and nymphs are putting fish in the net when there aren’t bugs on the water.

Today will be 62 degrees with considerable cloudiness. We may see some afternoon rain showers. Total rainfall should only be .04″. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the West.
