Delaware River Report: May 19, 2024

Yesterday’s rain didn’t amount to much but the cloud cover was decent. The West Branch at Hale Eddy bumped slightly to 570 cfs but is already dropping back to normal. The other rivers didn’t budge from the rain. Today will be warmer with more sunshine in the afternoon. Generally that means decent caddis during the day with the mayflies hatching a bit later. March Browns and Gray Fox can hatch sporadically throughout the day so watch the riffles for them too. The sulphurs have been coming at dark.

Today will be 77 degrees with clouds early and sun peaking through by the afternoon. Wind will be light and variable.
