Delaware River Report: May 23, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs with 265 cfs spilling over the top. The rivers came through the latest rain in good shape. The West Branch flow at Hale Eddy is steady. The Eastern drainage came up slightly. There are plenty of wade opportunities and floating is not a problem. Today looks good with light rain and good cloud cover. It looks like an olive day but keep an eye out for March Browns, Gray Fox, sulphurs, and cahills too. Streamers and nymphs have worked well over the last few days too.

Today will be 51 degrees, cloudy skies, with light rain developing in the afternoon. Total rainfall over the day should be .04″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
