Delaware River Report: October 11, 2025

The release from Cannonsville has been droped back to 589 cfs. This was done n anticipation of the rain over the next few days meeting the Montague Flow Target. The West Branch is in great shape for wading and floating this morning. It should also clear a bit with the lower release. It looks like a good fishing day with some possible light showers in the afternoon. That could push the hatches a little earlier than we’ve been seeing them. Cahills, hebes, Isonychias, olives, and caddis are all hatching in some numbers.

Today will be 65 degrees and partly cloudy. Clouds should increase in teh afternoon and we may see a stray shower. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
