We had wind and periods of rain yesterday but the rivers came through fine. There were bugs on some river stretches but the wind made dry fly fishing tough in the late afternoon. Small olives and hebes in the slow foam lines made up most of what we saw. Today looks similar to yesterday but we are on a warming trend.
Cannonsville is turning over so the West Branch has that green tint we get most Falls. It doesn’t bother the fish or the bugs.
Today will be 49 degrees with clouds and a chance of a shower. Total rainfall should be .01″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.
