Delaware River Report: October 15, 2025

The release from Cannonsville has been bumped to 1,100 cfs. There are still some wade opportunities at this level but the lower East Branch and Upper Main will have more comfortable wading. The feeder streams are dropping after the rain so the increase in release is to cover the minimum flow at Montague, NJ. The increased release means increased tim on the West Brantch. Streamers and nymphs will still be the best bets early. In the afternoon we’ve seen a light mix of Cahills, hebes, Isonychias, olives, and caddis. The caddis seem to be picking up.

Today will be 57 degrees with a few morning clouds giving way to afternoon sunshine. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the North.
