Delaware River Report: October 16, 2025

The release from Cannonsville has been dropped slightly to 930 cfs. There are a few more wade opportunities at this level but the lower East Branch and Upper Main will still have more comfortable wading. The water temps are starting off a little lower this morning after a cool night. Streamers and nymphs will still be the best bets early. In the afternoon we’ve seen a light mix of Cahills, hebes, Isonychias, olives, and caddis. The caddis seem to be picking up.

Today will be 55 degrees and sunny. Wind will be 15 – 25 mph from the North.
