Delaware River Report: October 19, 2025

Today will be the last daily blog update and shop day for 2025. It was an odd year. A tough one for waders. But some nice fish were landed. Hopefully the weather and releases are a little kinder in 2026. Daily reports will begin again on April 1, 2026. We will continue to do guide trips this Fall as long as the weather holds. To book a guide call 570-635-5880 or email flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com

The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. The release was cut back in anticipation of the rain. Like normal they have been changing the weather report every time we look. Right now they are calling for .32″ over night with some light rain Monday and Tuesday. If the rain slides around us they’ll bump the release back up so check the gauges below for the latest flow information. The wind will be tough today so nymphs and streamers will continue to be the best bets.

Today will be 71 degrees and sunny to partly cloudy. Wind will be 15 – 20 mph from the South.
