Delaware River Report: October 3, 2024

Today will be warmer with more sunshine. Nymphing or swinging wets will be the best bets early. The tint in the West Branch could make it work for streamers. The hatches should start mid afternoon on some sections with olives and hebes. Blind casting Isonychias or cahills in the broken water could pay off.

Cannonsville is turning over so the West Branch has that green tint we get most Falls. It doesn’t bother the fish or the bugs.

Today will be 72 degrees with partly cloudy skies with more sun in the afternoon. Wind will be light and variable.
