Delaware River Report: October 3, 2026

The release from Cannonsville is 217 cfs. The release from Cannonsville has been cut back again per the FFMP. Check the Stilesville gauge link below for the most up to date information. The plan has been nymphs early with some dry fly action later in the day. Small olives have made up most of the hatch but there are some Cahills, hebes, and sporadic Isonychias out there. We’ve seen more Isonychia spinners than duns in the last week. The West Branch has a greenish tint to it that is likely the reservoir turning. The fish and bugs don’t mind it and its actually better for streamer fishing.

Today will be 68 degrees with clouds in the morning and sun in the afternoon. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
