The release from Cannonsville is 959 cfs. The release was cut back a bit which should make the lower West Branch a bit clearer. There will still be color but less than yesterday. Wading will also be a bit easier on the West today but the Mainstem will still have better wade options. It’s going to be another sunny day. Streamers and nymphs will still be the best bets early. We’ve been seeing a mix of bugs as the sun drops. Cahills, hebes, Isonychias, olives, and caddis are all in play. The amount of bugs has varied each day and the sun and warm temps may push them later in the day,
Today will be 81 degrees and sunny. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
