Delaware River Report: September 1, 2024

We had a few brief, light showers yesterday afternoon but not enough to affect the rivers. Nymphing or swinging wets will be your best bets early. Blind casting Isonychias or cahills in the riffles could also put some fish in the net. We should see the small olives hatching in the evening. We’ll have more sunshine today so look for places that get shade early in the afternoon. The sun could also push the flying ants so have those patterns with you.

Today will be 81 degrees with mostly cloudy skies in the morning and sunshine in the afternoon. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
