Delaware River Report: September 14, 2024

Today is going to be exactly like yesterday. Which was exactly like the day before. We’ll have sunshine, warm temps, and no wind. The rivers are in good shape with the higher releases and cool nights. We have seen some fish eating olives mid day in the sun but the majority of the dry fly fishing has been later in the afternoon. Olives mixed with some hebes and Isonychias have made up the bulk of the hatch. There are still some cahills around and there is always a chance for flying ants. We have some heavy fog on the river this morning but that should burn off in the next hour.

Today will be 82 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Wind will be light and variable.
