Delaware River Report: September 15, 2024

Yesterday afternoon people found success with a mix of nymphing and dry flies despite the sunshine. The hatches weren’t heavy during the day but some people found enough bugs to put fish in the net. The hatches are the same with small olives, Isonychias, some hebes, and a few cahills. Nymphing will still be the best shot early today but it’s worth looking around for sporadic risers first. The main hatch will be later in the afternoon as the sun drops.

Today will be 79 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun. Wind will be light and variable.
