The release from Cannonsville has been cut back to 450 cfs. We came through yesterdays stoms fine and the rivers look good this morning. We should see just under .5″ today with the potential of another inch overnight. Hopefully tonights storms slide around us. If anything changes dramatically we’ll post an update. click on the gauge links below for the latest flow information. And keep an eye on the radar. Some river sections had decent flying ants yesterday and the Isos seem to be picking up a bit. The last of the sulphurs in Deposit have been sporadic and unpredictable but some people have been finding a few fish on them. There are a few Isonychias and Cahills in the evening along with some hebes. The ants have been around – not in big numbers but they’re here. Stick to the lower West if you want to nymph. The algae has been bad up top making it a dry fly only game.
Today will be 70 degrees with some rain showers. Total rainfall during the day should be .38″. Wind will be 5-10 mph from the South.
