Delaware River Report: September 22, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 885 cfs. Since the release has the “tint” to it the higher the release the more off color the West Branch looks. The lower release will open up some additional wade spots on the West Branch. Wunderground is calling for some rain this week. We’ll believe it when we see it but the clouds will be good for the fishing. Nymphing and streamers worked well yesterday. There were some olives and hebes in the late afternoon / evening. And of course blind casting Isonychias and Cahills can always pay off in the Fall.

Today will be 77 degrees with a mix of clouds and sun. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
