Delaware River Report: September 23, 2025

The release from Cannonsville has be reduced to 676 cfs. The West Branch and Mainstem flows will be dropping this morning and level off today. The West Branch will still have the “tint” from the release but it should be less color than yesterday. Wunderground is calling for .09″ of rain today. That amount of rain will soak right in to the ground but it definitely looks like a good day to be on the water. Olives and hebes are making up most of the bugs but there are Isonychias, Cahills, and flying ants around.

Today will be 71 degrees with clouds and a chance of afternoon rain showers. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
