Delaware River Report: September 25, 2024

The clouds and occasional rain showers over last few days have done nothing to the river flows but it’s been a great break from the bright sun we had last week. The hatching has been good after the rains or during lighter rains. Olives, hebes, cahills, and Isonychias have made up the bulk of the bugs. There are some caddis around and we should see more as we get deeper into Fall. The rain should start early this afternoon.

Today will be 61 degrees with clouds and occasional afternoon rain showers. Total rainfall should be .25″. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
