The release from Cannonsville has been dropped again. The flow at stilesville is 677 and falling. Hopefully it levels out between 500 – 650 cfs. We’re still mostly seeing small blue wing olives on the water. there are cahill / stenos and a few small sulphurs in the mix. Isonychias, yellow sallies, and flying ants are definitely on the menu too. There are some tricos around so keep your eyes open for risers mid morning in the big pools. Today has good potential with the air temp hitting 79 degrees and cloudy skies. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.
The East Branch at Fishs Eddy and the Beaverkill at Cooks Falls both peaked over 70 degrees yesterday. Give these sections a break until we get cooler temps.
