Delaware River Report: September 6, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 450 cfs. It looks like they are still anticipating the rain adding enough runoff to meet the flow target in Montague, NJ. Most of that rain seems to miss us so we’ll see. It looks like a good olive day. We have clouds and little rain in the forecast. The wind will be less than yesterday. A lot of the fish eating olives seem just as happy to eat and Isonychia or Cahill so definitely have those in your box. There are some hebes on some river sections. Flying ants are always a possibility this time of year.

Today will be 69 degrees with some rain in the morning and possible scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. Total rainfall should be .17″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the West.
