Delaware River Report: September 7, 2025

The release from Cannonsville is 453 cfs. Montague is 1,580 cfs after the rain and climbing slowly but should level off soon. The release should be higher. Most of that rain missed us. We ended up with great conditions yesterday with good cloud cover and occasional light rain. The olive hatch was good with some hebes mixed in. The fish are also eating Isonychias, Cahills, and flying ants. We’re starting off showing the fish the bigger bugs and dropping down to the olives when necessary. We’ll have more sun today but the bugs should still come in the afternoon.

Today will be 68 degrees with clouds in the morning clearing to partly cloudy in the afternoon. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
