Delaware River Report: September 8, 2022

We had some power issues on Winterdale yesterday. Everything is up and running today. We ended up with quite a bit of needed rain over the last two days. The flows are dropping back to normal and while there is some color in the lower West it’s clear enough for fish to rise if the olives hatch. Most of the fish netted over the last couple of days have been on streamers but there have been a couple caught on dries in the slower tailouts. Blue wing olives have still been the main hatch but we are finding some Isonychias and yellow sallies. Flying ants are unpredictable but are definitely around too. We’ll be 78 degrees today with a sight chance of a shower. Wind 5 – 10 mph from the North.
