Delaware River Report: September 9, 2024

The clouds should be back today and we may see some light afternoon showers. The wind will be way less than yesterday too so it looks like a good day to be on the water. Nymphing again will be the best bet in the morning but streamers could be an option with the clouds. In the afternoon we should see our normal hatches of small olives mixed with a few Isonychias, hebes, and the occasional cahill. The rivers are all in good shape with decent water temps due to the colder nights.

Today will be 68 degrees and cloudy with occasional afternoon rain showers. Total rainfall should be .1″. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the South.

Pat with a nice one yesterday. Mike Daccurzio photo
