River Report / Conditions April 9, 2011

Bright sun and no fog today – hopefully getting to 60F today! It looks like Cannonsville is spilling a little bit, cooling off the upper West Branch – releases should mitigate the amount of spill and warm up the water a little bit, as will the warmer weather heading our way. The exciting news is that the Paraleps (Blue Quill) are out, and there were some good numbers on the West Branch yesterday, but still not many fish looking up for them due to the water temps. We are still seeing Chimmarra caddis and little black stones, but the Baetis vagans are still absent – let’s hope that changes! Here are your flows:
