We are now allowed to guide one client at a time in Pennsylvania. If you would like a solo guided trip or guided trip with an immediate family member from the same household, send us an email at flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com or call 570-635-5880 and we’ll try to fit you in.
There were a lot of bugs hatching yesterday getting pushed around by the wind. People still found rising fish and some nice ones were landed. Blue quills, hendricksons, and olives were the mixed menu. Some sections had a great mix of light and dark brachycentrus caddis too. We’ll have more sunshine today with the air temp reaching 51 degrees. That will feel a lot warmer than yesterday. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North. That seems like a lot but it’s a lot less than what we’ve been dealing with for most of the Spring. Pepacton has stopped spilling so there are a lot of wade opportunities in the Eastern drainage. The West Branch is still spilling a little but there are spots to wade at 1,300 cfs. The West and Mainstem are at good floating levels too.
We are following the State’s order and the shop is still closed to walk in business. We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store: https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com
