Delaware River Report / Conditions May 12, 2020

We are now allowed to guide one client at a time in Pennsylvania.  If you would like a solo guided trip or guided trip with an immediate family member from the same household, send us an email at flyfish@thedelawareriverclub.com or call 570-635-5880 and we’ll try to fit you in.

We had some rain yesterday afternoon but we didn’t get much of a bump in river flows.  Most of the system is starting off the same as yesterday.  Yesterday fished well with blue quills, hendricksons, and olives.  We did have some strong wind and brief heavy rain push through in the late afternoon that shut things down but it happened late enough that everyone got their fishing in before it hit.  Today will be a mix of sun and clouds.  The air temp will hit the low 50’s.  Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the North.  We’d like to see a little less wind but it’s been that way most of the Spring.  The water levels are good for floating but there are some wade opportunities.

We are following the State’s order and the shop is still closed to walk in business.  We are still fulfilling mail orders in the online store:  https://drc-fly-shop.myshopify.com

Curbside pickup is now a shipping option in the online store.
