Delaware River Report: April 17, 2026

The river flows are still dropping and the West should clear up even more today. It had a tint for most of yesterday but was fishable. Water temps are still high for April. It’s mostly been caddis and stoneflies still but there are some olives and a few blue quills popping. The bugs should push any day now. Nymphing and streamers are still putting fish in the net. It’s going to be cooler today which is a good thing. The last few days were too warm for mid April.

Today will be 70 degrees with clouds. There is a chance of a morning shower. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the West.
