Delaware River Report: April 16, 2026

We had some rain overnight and most of the river flows bumped a couple hundred cfs. So not a huge deal and they should start to drop back this morning. It’s going to be another warm, sunny day. Water temps are looking great throughout the system and should climb higher with today’s weather. There’s some heavy fog this morning that should burn off quickly. Nymphs and streamers are still the most effective methods but the warmer water temps should push the olives and blue quills. There are some black caddis and stoneflies around.

Today will be 82 with a mix of sun and clouds. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
