A lot of the rain seems to have soaked in to the ground. The West Branch at Hale Eddy peaked and is falling this morning. The release from Cannonsville is 600 cfs with 289cfs spilling. We may see the spill increase a bit in the next 24 hours. The color looks fine out front this morning. The East Branch and Beaverkill flows are still climbing but should level off this morning. Be careful wading but there are spots that will be fine. Water temps are a couple of degrees cooler than yesterday morning but should warm up with the higher air temp and sun today. We’re still seeing good numbers of Hendricksons, Blue Quills, Olives, apple caddis, and little black caddis.
Today will be 63 degrees with clouds early clearing to partly cloudy in the afternoon. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
