The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. this morning. That concludes May 2026. The weather was very unsettled giving us August heat and November like wind and rain but a lot of nice fish were landed and the reservoirs have plenty of water. That should set us up for a good Summer. The best part of today will be the wind at 5 – 10 mph for a change. Caddis should be more active in the afternoon. March Browns, Gray Fox, Cahills, Green Drakes, olives, and Sulphurs are all hatching. There may still be some small #16 Hendricksons in the coldest water sections. We had a few light showers overnight that knocked the dust down but did not affect river flows.
Today will be 69 degrees and mostly sunny. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
