Delaware River Report: June 3, 2026

The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. Today will be another sunny day but with less wind. Nymphing has been the best bet during the day but blind casting the larger flies in the riffles could pay off. The dry fly fishing picks up when the sun begins to drop. It may be worth taking a look at the long, slow pools in the morning for left over caddis and spinners. Overall starting off fishing well. It still a mix of bugs with March Browns, Gray Fox, Cahills, Green Drakes, olives, and Sulphurs hatching. There may still be some small #16 Hendrickson spinners in the coldest water sections.

Today will be 81 degrees and mostly sunny. Wind will be 5 – 10 mph from the North.
