The release from Cannonsville is 500 cfs. We had a few more showers yesterday but the West Branch came through fine again and looks great this morning. The Beaverkill, Willowemoc, lower East Branch, and Mainstem are still all high and very off color. Aside from a few light showers otday we should have a few days with no rain ahead of us. So the fishing on the West Branch will be the same as it’s been for a few weeks. The daytime sulphurs are hatching in Deposit mixed with some olives and a few Isonychias. Smaller seems to be better. Stick to the lower West if you want to nymph. The algae has been bad up top making it a dry fly only game.
Today will be 75 degrees with clouds and some afternoon showers. Total rainfall should be .05″. Wind will be 5 – 10 from the North.
