Delaware River Report: April 14, 2026

The release from Cannonsville has been cut back to 600 cfs. All of the rivers are now in good shape for wading and floating. It’s unseasonably warm this week so all of the water temps are starting off higher than yesterday morning. We’re starting to see some river sections peaking over 50 degrees. That should push some of the hatches. Today looks a lot like yesterday including the wind. Streamers and nymphs will be the best bets early. If you can find a spot protected from the wind definitely have your dry fly box with you.

Today will be 80 degrees with clouds and some light rain showers. Wind will be 10 – 20 mph from the South.
