Delaware River Report: April 15, 2026

We had some brief but violent thunderstorms move through last night. The river flows bumped a little. The rivers are still at decent levels so no real change. The river temps shot up in yesterday’s heat with most rivers hitting at least 50 degrees. Today’s weather looks very similar to yesterday’s so we should see another temp spike today. The warmer water should push the bugs this week. The lower water levels have opened up more nymphing opportunities too.

Today will be 80 degrees and partly cloudy in the afternoon. There is a chance of morning thunderstorms. Wind will be 10 – 15 mph from the South.
