Delaware River Report: August 10, 2023

Today looks like a good day to be on the water. We should have cloud cover and some light afternoon rain. The flows have continued to drop opening up more wade opportunities. It looks like a decent blue wing olive day. The best day time dry fly fishing will still be up close to the dams in the coldest water. Small sulphurs and olives. The weather may push some olives and Isonychias earlier in the day on the mid to lower West. The cloud cover should certainly make the fish more comfortable to eat Isonychias blind casted in the riffles.

This weekend is our annual Get Trashed cleanup event. Join us for a great time removing trash from the river system.

Today will be 73 degrees with clouds in the morning and some showers in the afternoon. Rainfall should only be .05″. Wind will be 5 – 10 from the South.
