Delaware River Report: August 12, 2023

Keep an eye on the radar this afternoon. We may see some strong storms push through. The sun popped out yesterday afternoon and the river fished like normal for Summer. The coldest water closest to the dams have the best daytime dry fly action. We are seeing some midday bugs again on the mid West Branch – especially when it’s cloudy. Today looks good for olives and we should see a few Isonychias.

Today is our annual Get Trashed cleanup event. Join us for a great time removing trash from the river system. 10 am meet time

Today will be 78 degrees with sun and clouds in the morning. There is a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon so keep an eye on the radar. Total rainfall should only be .019″ . Wind will be 5 – 10 from the South.

The Iron Fly kicking off the river cleanup! Lots of great people will be cleaning the river today
